Retrogaming Deep Dive — Akihabara's Underground

About this experience
Not nostalgia — hardware. I'll walk you through the shops where you can find a working PC-Engine, a Saturn prototype cartridge, a Famicom Disk System in original packaging — and understand what you're actually looking at. We'll play some of what we find. The afternoon ends at an Akihabara bar that has 40 vintage arcade cabinets charging ¥500 for two hours of play. The regulars there have been coming since they were twelve. Most still have perfect thumb calluses.
